Q: If I email or send the parish a list of names for genealogy will I be able to receive copies of the genealogy information?
A: We get many requests to do research for people and their families, however
due to the limited staff we have we cannot do any research for you. St
Francis and the other historic churches in Detroit have had their Sacramental
Registers microfilmed and deposited at the main branch of the Detroit Public
Library's Burton Collection.

Q: Members of my family were either married or
baptized at St Francis, can I get married there or have my children baptized
there?
A: You must be an active member of the parish for at least one year for your wedding to be held here. Contact the rectory about baptisms. Dates for these are set by appointment. You must contact the rectory to make an appointment to speak with one of the priests to make arrangements.
